(4-night minimum) With an open lanai and great ocean view, you’ll feel comfortable and right at home in one of the finest locations in the islands! This one-bedroom (701 sq.ft. plus lanai with table and 2 chairs) with split A/C, is in the only condominium in Waikiki where you can step right from the building onto world famous Waikiki Beach! The living room has a new 42” flat screen TV, DVD player, dining table and 4 chairs, and full sleeper sofa (with new 8-1/2” mattress). The full kitchen includes dishwasher and you’ll also appreciate the convenient washer/dryer. Folding doors separate the living area from the bedroom with king bed. Bathroom has tub/shower with hand-held shower wand. Located in the newly revitalized area of Waikiki, you’ll be able to enjoy great dining, shopping and entertainment, and don't forget to watch the Friday night fireworks from your own lanai! WiFi and local calls are included with your rental. Limited onsite parking is $18/day or $25/day (4-day minimum; $100 flat rate for 4-30 days) at the adjacent parking lot (5-minute walk). All parking rates subject to change. This condo is not as recently ungraded as others in our Waikiki Shore inventory which is reflected in the lower price for the rental.     I went with my 2 daughters . I was concern before we arrived as it's downtown and how safe the building will be for 3 females alone. First the gentleman who checked us in was a very polite young man. He took me up and helped me with my lugges then when I entered the place I was speechless from the view. Amazing breath taking view. The place was very clean and have everything you need. It's 5 min walk to downtown Waikiki strip. U r right on the Waikiki beach. There is 2 restaurant under the building twored the beach for breakfast one is buffet but not a lot of options for gluten free people. And the other is a menu sit down. Did not go there but it looks nice. There is a small shop next to the Starbucks for milk and water and snack. My only issue is the chair bed mattress needs to he updated it . We did not use it as it will have been a real problem for anyone's back. But the sofa bed mattress and the kind mattress is very comfy. Wendy is very quick with answering any emails it makes u at ease knowing there is a human at the other end. Cannot wait until we come back and hopefully soon. Thank you Caption cook crew for the amazing hospitality.

    Enjoyed an outstanding sunset view from the lanai. The room was clean and managed well, no trouble during my stay.
    Also convenient for shopping and dining, 5 minutes walk to Waikiki beach walk.

    I loved the view. Would have been happy to sit on the balcony and read it was such a wonderful location. But, with all the beauty the island has to offer....
    Only problem was there were ants in the kitchen and bath room. Although the property manager came right over to put out something to kill them, they were still there when we left. We didn't do much cooking, but if we had that would have been a major problem.

    First of all, the view from the unit was just wonderful. From the wide open window to the lanai, you can have an unobstructed view of the beautiful ocean, greens of Fort DeRussy Beach Park and buildings in Honolulu downtown over the park. As you might know, this is one of the best places to see the fireworks from Hilton on Fridays.
    The location was also very convenient. Only steps away from Beachwalk where nice restaurants and shops are and a few minutes' walk to the center of Waikiki. On the other side of the condo, there's the beach!!
    We could see the unit had been thoroughly cleaned up and well maintained. We had no problem at all throughout the stay. The staff from Captain Cook was very friendly and helpful. We would like to choose the unit again next time we stay in Waikiki. Mahalo!

    Love love love the view. Property is well maintained and comfortable. My husband and I loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants, or choose to stay home and sip wine on the lanai with a SPECTACULAR view! I highly recommend this property.

    Paul was great to deal with and very helpful as was booking through Captain Cook. We would not book #1316 again as we were very disappointed the safe keys were not available with the rental and this is an important feature for a safe vacation. Where does one store passports and valuables!Also this unit is in need of a reno. If you are going to rent this unit for the same money as others in the building you have to upgrade the unit. The furniture is a prime example of upgrading the sofa beds were horrible for sleeping on. So this is why we would not rent 1316 again of recommend to any one else. Hope you pass this on to the owners.

    We do not adverstise safes in any of our rentals. We repaired the sofa beds, a couple of springs had come off, and new mattress has been ordered for the double size sleeper. A new 42" TV was purchased for the condo, but the island style decor reflects the owner's individual preference.

    Loved the apartment, view was great. It was very clean. Could do with updating the dishwasher and TV - but we didn't go to Waikiki to watch TV, and we didn't use the dishwasher. Very comfortable bed, bathroom was great. Best part was sitting on the balcony watching the comings and goings. Very central to everything we wanted to do, and it was great to go down the lift and straight onto the beach. We will be back!

    The view from the Lanai was amazing, the absolute best that we could hope for...a great place to wile away the hours while overlooking the park with incredible ocean views. The unit is a little dated and the decor needs upgrading as well as new dishes and pots and pans. The location was perfect with the beach and all the amenities you could want just steps from the building. The property itself was well maintained and very clean. A great find in Waikiki!
