I have actually rented from Captain Cook numerous times....all at the Waikiki Shore. Are you looking for a good sunest view? I would be amazed if you could find any other accommodations on Waikiki that would give you a better sunset experience. Paul is the contact person that will check you in and be your go-to for everything! He is awesome! Having worked with him numerous times, I know that he genuinely cares if you have a pleasurable experience. He is one of the reasons i continue to rent from Captain Cook!

Pleasantly surprised
Anchorage, United States, February 27, 2026 Stayed for 10 days in February 2026Honestly, I was apprehensive about booking in this building, as it is older and I had seen it while staying nextdoor at the Outrigger Reef many years ago. However, the reviews were good and the condo with kitchen, in-unit laundry, and phenomenal ocean view checked all our "must have" boxes.From personalized check-in (even at midnight) to effortless self checkout, our experience couldn't have been better. The building and room were clean and well maintained throughout, with essentials in place. Trash is conveniently picked up outside your door each morning. Parking was also easy and convenient with the HaleKoa public lot extremely close and accessible. Of course, the best part is the amazing ocean/beach/park and even city/mountain views from the lanai and Diamond Head from the entry door/window/balcony. The Friday night fireworks view from the lanai was fabulous. I am convinced we had one of the very best overall views in Waikiki, without a doubt. We did not miss a pool with the beach access directly out the door. For perspective, I will add that we stayed at the Ritz Residences a couple blocks away on our last trip to Oahu and we much preferred this experience, view, and laid back beach vibe. My expectations were exceeded.

Great Views.
Decently stocked with utensils. You will have to buy all your groceries if you plan on cooking. Knowing the size, I'd reccomend eat out. AC worked good and overall A+ Vincent was great. Parking was expensive. Rent scooters..........Response from Captain Cook Resorts
