You'll love this 540 sq.ft. "Tropical Hideaway" studio in the beachfront Colony Surf building on the beach at the quiet end of Waikiki! Cooled by ceiling fans and trade winds (Colony Surf Suites are NOT air-conditioned).
Shared laundry facilities on-site. This condo overlooks the volleyball court of a private canoe club next door. You'll also be close to tennis courts in Kapiolani Park (home of the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Aquarium). With a quiet swimming beach at your back door and world famous Michel's restaurant on site, you're also just a short walk into Waikiki! Bus service is available to Waikiki, groceries and shops in the area.
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Colony Surf is undergoing some concrete spalling repair throughout the building through July 28, 2023. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8AM–4:30PM, excluding holidays (4/7, 5/29, 6/12, 7/4/2023). This will entail some jackhammering and grinding noises. Though most guests are not bothered, please consider if you are particularly sensitive to noise. Due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, construction schedule may change without notice.

CHECK-IN IS 3PM — CHECK-OUT IS 11AM
Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival. For same-day reservations, Check-In Time is guaranteed for 5PM.
No Pets, No Parties, No Smoking/Vaping (including in the condo, on the balcony/lanai, or in any of the building's public spaces). Violations are subject to a $500 fine, plus actual costs for odor removal or if anything needs replacement due to tar, ashes, or burns.

Mary K. from Cary United States, 04. April 2023 Stayed for 46 days in January, 2023Our first time staying in the smaller size condo at Colony Surf. Our nearly 2 month stay was quite comfortable. The bed and sofa are both comfortable. The bathroom has been remodeled with lots of storage.
The views of the ocean and bobbing outriggers is spectacular from the sofa, go to the window and Diamond Head crater feel as though you can reach out and touch it especially at sunrise.
Bonus in the kitchen was the owner or prior guest left 2 Pur water filter pitchers. We purchased water filters for the pitchers and left filters as pay it forward. So fantastic to have cold filtered water. The kitchen is well earned. I did let the property manager know the dishwasher needs to be replaced son.

Great location, nice condo

Bring a surf board or SUP board if you are into Water sports - a couple really nice surfing waves just off the beach. One is called Rice bowl. A 12 minute walk into the Waikiki tourist area for restaurants, shopping etc. The condo overlooks the volleyball courts in the Outrigger canoe club so can be a bit noisy during the day. We didn't mind as the positive energy from the players was great and matches could be entertaining if you wanted to watch.
Captain Cook was excellent to rent with - super friendly and quick to respond to any questions or requests.

The only thing that was a drawback was there was no A/C but after a day or too you get used to having the windows open for the trade winds. Otherwise, everything was as described by Captain Cook resorts. We would definitely rent this condo again!
