Colony Surf #807 – 2895 Kalakaua Ave
(30-Night Minimum. ALL MONTHLY RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL. Preference given to calendar month bookings.)

Just what you've been looking for! Cooled by trade winds and ceiling fans, this is a spacious (900 sq. ft.) open floor plan, one-bedroom suite with incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head! 2-person max.

The Colony Surf offers beachside living at its finest and is also home to world famous Michel's Restaurant and next door to the private Outrigger Canoe Club. On one side of Colony Surf you'll enjoy playing tennis or walking in Kapiolani Park; on the other side, enjoy swimming and sunning on the sandy beach, or surfing the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean (NO Pool onsite). You'll be away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, yet a close enough walk to shopping, casual and fine dining, nightlife and the many attractions and activities that Waikiki has to offer. Bus service is also available to Waikiki, grocery stores and shops in the area and to Ala Moana Shopping Center.

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Colony Surf will be undergoing a concrete spalling repair and walkway carpet replacement project through April 28, 2023. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8AM–4:30PM, excluding holidays (11/11/22, 11/24–25/22, 12/26/22–1/2/23, 1/16/23, 2/20/23, 4/7/23). This will entail loud jackhammering and grinding noises, and covering walkways in plastic for dust containment, and it is highly suggested to keep your windows closed during work hours to avoid dust coming in to your condo. Work schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
Unit #807 will be directly affected by the concrete spalling repairs on the exterior of all 06 & 07 units from September 26–December 2, 2022, and by the 8th floor walkway repairs September 26–October 4, 2022. Quote rates include a 40% discount off affected weekdays!

CHECK-IN IS 3PM — CHECK-OUT IS 11AM
Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival. For same-day reservations, Check-In Time is guaranteed for 5PM.

No Pets, No Parties, No Smoking or Vaping (including in the condo, on the balcony/lanai, or in any of the building's public spaces). Violations are subject to a $500 fine, plus actual costs for odor removal or if anything needs replacement due to tar, ashes, or burns.

ALL CAPTAIN COOK RESORTS RENTALS INCLUDE:
– Bath towels, Beach towels, Bed linens
– Dishes, Silverware, Cookware (including tea kettle & rice cooker)
– Beach chairs, Hair dryer, Iron/Ironing board
– Start-Up Supplies: coffee filters, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap, bar soap, paper towels, toilet paper, tissue, basic cleaning supplies, and travel size (2 oz.) shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion
– NOT PROVIDED: beach umbrellas, beach toys, aluminum foil, Ziploc bags, coffee, condiments/seasonings, cooking oil, fabric softener, or bleach. This private vacation rental does NOT include resort services such as daily housekeeping, replenishment of towels or toiletry supplies, or hotel front desk services.

    this is our second time staying in #807 and we enjoyed it as before.

    however, there were two problems. one, the bathroom sink faucet had a constant leak with made the countertop wet and dripped under the sink and onto the floor. second, the lighting in the kitchen and over the stove is poor making it hard to cook. otherwise, it was great.

    we were very happy with our stay in #807 at the colony surf. the place was comfortable, the bed was nice and firm, and the kitchen was well-equipped.

    nice to be on 8th floor with cool breeze and some distance from the volleyball court (a little surprised they started at 7am some days).

    only suggestion is that ceiling fans need to be fixed or replaced. the one over the couch is barely functional and the adjustment chains on both are broken.

    I stayed at the colony surf for many years . It's the best spot on the island ! Beautiful views watching the sun rise over diamond head the other view the lovely ocean !Everything you need at this lovely condo for a perfect stay !

    This was our 5th stay at Colony Surf. We love the location, the private beach, the views. When you walk into the condo the view takes your breath away, the trade winds keep the unit cool, but we were glad for the overhead fans which help when the air is still. The kitchen is very nice and is well equipped. The bed is comfortable with great views of the sun rising above Diamond Head. So nice to have beach chairs, blankets, boogie boards and other beach items.
    We had an issue with the door lock that Brandon promptly took care of. He also repaired the bathroom door. Petra was great a scheduling the repairs to meet our schedules. The fire alarm was not repaired during our stay.
    This unit is very well loved. The carpet is very stained as is the furniture. The ottoman is very worn. A closet door is missing. Of all the units we stayed in, this was the least inviting.
    Hurricane Lane was bearing down on us during this stay and thankfully it ended up being a tropical storm. Both Colony Surf and Captain Cook give us preparation instructions. We feel the unit should have had a flash light available for storms. As a safety issue it should be supplied along batteries. A small tool set would be a nice to have as well.

    When I first walked into the apartment I was awed by the beautiful breathtaking view of Diamond Head and the ocean. 1 month is definitely not enough. Byron was very nice helpful and responsive to our needs. I definitely want to return in the future.

    Great staying at the quieter end of Waikiki. Good swimming and snorkeling right out front. Scenic walks along the beach and in Kapiolani Park. Well equipped kitchen. Furniture was comfortable and clean, though a few items, like the ottoman, are showing wear. Would definitely stay again.

    Great experience. Best location, spectacular views, all amenities included were terrific. Would come again but it’s already been rented, but thanks to Captain Cook we’re moving up to higher floor in same Colony Surf building - can’t wait to come back, mahalo!

    I needed a short term rental and didn't want to stay in a hotel. I called Captain Cook and they delivered excellently. It was seamless from beginning to end and the apartment was fantastic. Everything was as promised and represented. Suzanne McGill was my agent and she was efficient, helpful and got the job done with minimal hassle, assisting me with the paperwork since I was traveling when making the reservation.
