This is my second time staying at the Four Paddle through Captain Cook and I highly recommend the place and the management company. Clean, adequately supplied, secure, and quiet. You can barely hear your neighbors in this unit, and street noise, while apparent, was not unexpected as the unit overlooks Kuhio Avenue.
This is a great location away from the busiest streets in Waikiki but still within walking distance to the beach (Fort DeRussy). Its location between Kuhio Avenue and Ala Wai Boulevard makes it very easy to get into and out of Waikiki while avoiding most of the congested areas. Several stores within a one-block radius that sell fresh, made-to-order, and packaged food.
WiFi was great. Both of us worked remotely during parts of our vacation with no connectivity issues.
The only advisory I would give is related to the parking space. Our rental car was a Nissan Versa and it was a close, close fit. A 2-door smaller car would probably be more appropriate. And the driver needs to be comfortable reversing into narrow space and will need to do a squeeze shimmy to get in & out of the car.

In general, everything is great about the unit. It's in a very convenient location and walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The area feels safe and there is security on site. The size of the unit is very spacious, with a kitchen and dining area. We didn't know until we got there that there are life jackets and beach toys for the kids!! It is a bonus to have laundry in the suite when you have kids. My only negative comments are that the pots and pans are not really in usable condition and should be replaced. The parking spot is extremely tiny but we were lucky that we rented a Nissan Versa but still required passengers on one side to get out first before parking.

We used # 1606 last time and # 1103 this time. We are satisfied as room is beautiful and is equipped with facilities. # 1103 was a washlet toilet and I was very grateful. It is a good place to walk to Waikiki and easy to travel by car. I would like to use it again next time.

We loved this location! It was truly a hidden gem in the city. As lovely as photos can look it's not always one gets the pleasure of the exact thing! From start to finish, renting this unit for our honeymoon was a breeze and absolutely perfect. Our property manager Paul was very prompt and met us directly after our flight and made getting settled in very easy. Really enjoyed the close proximity to all the shops and the main strip so we were able to walk to most places. We loved how the kitchen was fully stocked and was surprised by all the beach equipment provided. We still ended up purchasing beach chairs and an umbrella but otherwise, there were plenty of toys for kids, boogie boards, a canopy tent, snorkeling equipment and beach towels.
We would absolutely stay here again if we had the chance.

We had a lovely time staying at Four Paddle. It was easy to check in and the building felt very secure. The location is great - just a couple blocks from the luxury shops, restaurants, and the beach! Our unit was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. There was some construction noise, but if you are used to living in a city it's no big deal. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would certainly come back!

Four Paddle 1103 was better than expected. The photos were accurate. There's a closet tucked away near the bathroom entrance that's not clearly shown in the pictures that provided unexpected storage space. Parking was secure and had two ways in/out. Location on the east end of Waikiki meant getting in and out of busy Waikiki was super easy. Security was friendly and ever present. Maintenance was constantly on site maintaining common areas. The building is extremely quiet. I could barely tell there were neighbors. The saline pool was NEVER crowded and got sun between 9 and 3. Nearby construction noise was limited to working hours and despite the new high rise, you could still see the Waikiki fireworks. Curtains were dark enough to shield sleepers from city lights. The bed and the sofabed were comfortable with nice bedding and pillows. The beach was within walking distance and so were a variety of high end and lower priced stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property even without the management team who were icing on this delicious cake. Paul was spectacular. He proactively called us to arrange a meeting time, walked us through the property, provided detailed instructions, identified a couple of missing items, and then followed up the very next day. And was personable and charming! I received several emails from Captain Cook Vacations to verify that I was satisfied during my stay. If I had any recommendations, it would be for more storage and less knick knacks. Simple changes like replacing the side tables with 1-2 drawers/shelf sets or removing some of the design features so that the shelf could be used by guests would surely be appreciated.

I've stayed in various vacation rentals and this was one of the best I've come across recently. The unit was in great condition with accurate resemblance to photos, amenities and everything described by Captain Cook Real Estate.
The only downside were the booking fees and other fees that kind of add up in the end but the amenities they provide in the unit make up for the extra costs.
Paul Tucker, who was the agent for this rental was professional and super friendly, any questions or problems I had were solved in no time. I would definitely consider renting this unit again.

Staying at Four Paddle 1103 was beyond great and met all of our expectations and more. Paul met and welcomed us with open arms...and even managed to help us with our bags! The room was exactly like what the pictures show. The secured parking was great to have and everything was in great proximity to the room. The swimming pool wasn't huge by any means, but perfect for our kids and adults. We would definitely stay at this condo again if given the chance and it's available. The only blemish I rice cooker. You know the locals need a rice cooker. However, that was just a tiny microscopic pimple on the "okole" of an elephant! Thanks Paul for accommodating my family...We had a great time in Oahu and a great time at the Four Paddle 1103!

Everything described by VRBO and pictured is as listed. This was a very comfortable studio and had all the necessary amenities one would like to have at home. The lack of a dishwasher was not at all an undesirable feature, as I have one at home that is rarely used. The one improvement I would like to see is a counter in the bathroom - ladies do like space on which to place their necessities. Kudos to Paul, the property manager, as he was always helpful and assured that all needs were met. Paul is an excellent ambassador for Captain Cook! I would definitely enjoy staying in this unit again.

This unit was very comfortable. The only negative comments we have are the lack of drawer space for clothing items and the lanai furniture is not the most comfortable. The unit was clean and spacious for a studio.

Location of the Four Paddle is convenient for me and my family. High ceiling elevators are allow to bring 10 feet SB to the unit. The unit 1103 is still OK for ocean view but will lose ocean view by Ritz.

We had a very nice time in this condo, and the Honolulu area. The Condo worked out very well and met our expectations in all regards. One key point is the associated parking stall is quite tight... good thing we had a Fiat 500.
Too bad the new condo going up across the street will ruin the ocean view.

We arrived on the island, mid afternoon. A quick call tfrom the airport to Paul, who met us at the condo. He was super friendly and helpful. Showed us all the amenities of the building, and took us right thru our condo unit, pointing everything out that we needed to know. Unit was very, very clean. View was awesome. We spent nearly every morning, drinking coffee in the lanai and overlooking the ocean.(best part)!! Unit was stocked fairly well. Really enjoyed the kitchen, with the exception of not having a dishwasher. Minor setback, tho. Having a washer & dryer in the room was super convenient. Maybe the patio furniture could be replaced. Chairs were wooden, well used, and a bit wobbly. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our first condo experience. Looking forward to returning next year.

This was a perfectly sized place for my husband and me - good sized studio, full kitchen, and even a view of the water from the small lanai. Some of the rooms have obstructed views of the water due to construction but not this one. Parking was easy, the building felt secure, and I would stay there again.

The overall experience was terrific. Paul our guy to check in with was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the convenience of the parking, our room being close to the elevator and that it was a quiet and small building. This is a comfortable and clean studio in a great location. It is a pleasant walk to the beach and we enjoyed using the city bus to get to Honolulu sights and to Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve for snorkeling. We plan to go back.

The unit had all the amenities we needed in a studio and the view of the beach was great. The pool and patio were nice too. The location provided easy access to beach,shopping,and TheBus. The only drawback was the traffic woke us up early every morning.

Everything was great, very nice, clean unit. We had our two college-aged kids with us and it was a little crowded. Perfect for a couple though. Parking space was very tight (even for a compact car), but they warn you of that and show you pictures of the space on their website, so can't really complain about that.

We loved the studio. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. We were very comfortable there Nd found it to have everything we needed for a great vacation. The pool and patio dining deck were amazing and allowed for room to gather together for our group to grill and dine together. The view over Fort DeRussey Park was amazing for sunset views and Friday night fireworks. We had a wonderful time!

We stay in Waikiki about 2 times a year and loved this unit. It is well located and comfortably furnished. It had everything you'd need and secure parking.

We really liked staying in this condo. It was convenient to everything and it was very comfy. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai during the day to either read or just watch the city. Also, the view of the ocean was very nice and we could see the fireworks the Hilton does every Friday. The condo was very walkable to the major shopping areas in Waikiki as well.
The only con was that it was occasionally noisy at night (especially the weekend). There was definitely some drunken revelry going on outside on the weekend. However, this was easily solved with ear plugs.

I had longed for stayed at the #1103 of FOUR PADDLE for a long time.
Actually we enjoyed for some days very much.
The room was clean,comfortable,good taste and connenient! Oh,there was a difficult point!
This property's parking was too narrow to park for me.I remembered my driving school experience!But this room became to be my favorite accommodation.I hope to book the room easily the next HAWAII. Big MAHALO!

We have enjoyed to stay at Four Paddle Rm#1103 with the location of condo and it's facility. This studio Room is wide enogh and easy to clean up. Small but good view lanai is the most relax and enjoyable spot. We have enjoyed Sunbathing, Sauna and Barbecue at the poolside. The controversial points are unrepaired closet Rouver Door and Do not feel a sense of cleanliness about Linens and tablewares. Attached Parking space is extremely narrow and have a hard time of parking even with compact car. Except those, you can enjoy this room very much.

The louvered door to the closet has been repaired. Linens and tablewares are thoroughly cleaned between guests . The parking spot is assigned to the unit. When available, we will relocate to an unused unit's spot.

I love this condo. #1103 is nice studio apartment.
I enjoyed very much my vacation for a month.
