The beautiful marina and ocean views from this contemporary 16th floor studio at The Ilikai, made famous in the opening credits of the original Hawaii Five-O, will remind you that you're on vacation in one of the most beautiful places on earth! 4-person max.
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Major exterior painting and spalling repair project Jul 28, 2025–Jul 20, 2027 with construction noise daily from 8am–5pm. This unit's lanai will be closed Nov 20, 2026–Apr 13, 2027, accessible daily from 5pm once work is finished for the day. (Dates subject to change without notice due to weather and unexpected delays.)
There are many great shops and dining establishments right on property and it's an easy walk, trolley or taxi ride to many other exciting shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues! Beautiful Duke Kahanamoku Beach Park & Lagoon are located just a quick 4-minute walk down the exclusive beach access walkway, and Ala Moana Center and Beach Park are a 10–15-minute walk away!
NOTE: This rental is legally classified as a 1-Bedroom condo due to its size and kitchen. However, it has been renovated into a spacious open-concept Studio with NO wall/door separating the bedroom from the living room.

Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival. For same-day reservations, Check-In Time is guaranteed for 5PM.
No Pets, No Parties, No Smoking or Vaping (including in the condo, on the balcony/lanai, or in any of the building's public spaces). Violations are subject to a $500 fine, plus actual costs for odor removal or if anything needs replacement due to tar, ashes, or burns.

Suginami-ku, Japan, January 3, 2026 Stayed for 8 days in December 2025・今回は2か所のバケーションレンタルを経験しました。2か所ともキャプテンクックにお願いした為引っ越しはスムーズに行うことが出来ました。2か所めのイリカイはラナイからの眺めは最高でアラモアナに近くまたザ・バスやトローリーの停留所が近く便利でした。
・2点不満点が有りました。改善を望みます。
1)上の階からの水がラナイに垂れて来ていた点
2)エアコンの室内機から水が漏れており床が濡れてしまった点

Waikiki getaway at the Ilikai
Surrey, CA, September 2, 2025 Stayed for 10 days in August 2025Location was good, a bit of a walk to the main part of Waikiki. Views are amazing, clean spacious room with good functional kitchen. Property is older but has all the amenities you need!

North Pole, US, February 7, 2025 Stayed for 8 days in January 2025We are repeat visitors to the Ilikai and absolutely love this location. Close to the beach, beautiful morning walks in Ala Moana Park, shopping, restaurants and the convention center. This unit has a great view of the marina and gorgeous sunsets every evening. The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and updated and the kitchen well stocked. We had a few minor maintenance issues and after a call to Captain Cook staff, they came over and fixed. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely week at the Ilikai (despite initial hiccup)
Vancouver, US, September 25, 2024 Stayed for 7 days in September 2024We enjoyed our stay at the Ilikai #1629, and Jean was a very helpful and responsive property manager. The unit was clean and appointed exactly as shown in the photos online. Great location, and high floor with nice sunset views over the ocean. Our one issue was on arrival, when the ac unit had apparently turned off due to the sliding doors not being completely closed. The property manager filling in for Jean did not check this prior to giving us the door codes when we got to the Honolulu airport, and assumed the ac was broken.
Since it was the weekend, he said the ac couldn't be fixed for 2 days, so moved us to another building ~1 mile away - which required Ubering and some hassle. The replacement unit was nice enough, although a lot smaller than the Ilikai unit we had reserved. And it was only going to be available to us for 3 days and if ac wasn't fixed we weren't sure what we'd do. Fortunately, Jean was back the next day, figured out what had happened, apoligized profusely and got us back into the Ilikai unit that afternoon (and comped us the first night). Once we were settled we had a great stay for the remaining 6 nights. We would definitely stay there again!Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Great spot for sunsets

The unit is nicely equipped for a week’s stay - plenty of towels, complete kitchen, perfect outdoor space for morning coffee and afternoon wine.
