CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Due to emergency building exterior spalling repairs, unit lanai will be closed from 2/9–3/20/2026, and please expect some construction noise during daytime hours through October 2026 (exact dates subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances).
Although there is no pool onsite, it's just a quick stroll to Duke Kahanamoku Beach and Lagoon, consistently rated as one of the Top 10 Beaches in America by Dr. Beach. Chart House Waikiki, Harbor Pub & Pizza, Red Lobster, and San Paolo Pizza & Wine restaurants are located on-premises, and an ABC Store convenience store and McDonald's are just across the street. Discovery Bay Shopping Center, Waikiki Beach Walk, and Ala Moana Center, with their hundreds of dining and shopping options, are also just a short walk away!
With its gorgeous marina-front views, Chart House Waikiki is the perfect spot to enjoy a dinner and cocktails or a leisurely weekend brunch. Please note that Chart House and Harbor Pub are open daily until midnight (2am on Fridays and Saturdays), and guests on lower floors may experience some noise from restaurant patrons.

A great experience

The parking for the unit is initially confusing but once figured out, it provided smooth in and out. The parking is a huge plus. It's ample and connected to the same floor as the unit so it's literally 3 minutes from car to the unit door. Unit itself was great, nice view, clean, and provided plenty of towels, AC worked well. ABC store just down the block for convenience, 3 restaurants in the same building. Will definitely consider staying there again.

Beautiful and great location

The only drawback is that sometimes people are up very late on the marina or they get up very early. If you are sensitive sleeper or don’t wanna wake up early, I’d recommend earplugs. Otherwise, I can’t think of anything that would make this rental better. I really loved it.

Cute room
Rancho Cordova, US, January 12, 2025 Stayed for 5 days in January 2025Great location, space, and layout. This room is super cute and perfect for 2 people. The pullout was uncomfortable and you can hear everything from the street below. I didn't realize the harbor would be so noisy and busy at night, and bright and early in the morning, so that is something to consider. Otherwise, the view is amazing, the room is adorable, and there is a lot within walking distance.

We chose this place because we wanted to save a little money making some of our own meals. Waikiki is expensive and no way around it. But instead of spending money on food, we spent it on adventures. No need for my family to have resort scenery if we are not even in our room but to sleep. We were out and about seeing the island daily. i'd definitely book here again.

Great stay at the Ilikia Marina

Kitchen had all utensils needed for cooking plus a dishwasher for an easy cleanup. Wonderful stay!
Cypress, US, June 6, 2024 Stayed for 3 days in June 2024Stayed here for three days with my husband and 1 yr old. Check in was easy and the property managers were very helpful with whatever we needed. Although we were on the lower floors the outside traffic wasn’t too loud. Figuring out the tv was a little difficult but who’s going to stay and watch tv while on vacation!? Very convenient that there was an abc store across the way for last minute items. Even was able to catch the fireworks from the Hilton lagoon. Still a great view

Once Again - The Perfect Get-Away-Place in Honolulu

Resort fees at adjacent properties led us to seek other locations to stay. Condo 590 was our third stay at the Ilikai Marina (May 9 - May 24). It is conveniently located within walking distance of Ala Moana Center, parks, surfing, swimming and many, many restaurants. Multiple bus stops, trolley stops, grocery stores, and convenient stores are just minutes away on foot. Condo 590 had everything necessary to make our stay enjoyable: towels, bedding, minimum starting toiletries, cable television (Spectrum basic service), Wi-Fi (password protected), pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery. The view? Amazing! Beautiful! The Friday-night fireworks sponsored by the Hilton Hawaiian Village are breathtaking and never get old. [I have merely copied my review from our stay May 2023 for 15 days.)

Great stay for a stressful visit

Our contact was very responsive, polite, and on top of our check in amd check out. The power went out at one point and we couldnt get in touch with anyone or any news, but it eventually came back on after we had left for the day. Our rental was clean, welcoming, and very comfortable. The A/C worked amazingly!! That's a HUGE plus for us. The king sized bed and bedding was "feeling at home" comfy. My adult sons slept very well on the sofa bed. It had most of the amenities we look for in a rental. Sheets towels, blankets, pillows, beach chairs, pots & pans, coffee pot (yay!), etc. It would've been really nice to have seasonings (salt,pepper,maybe garlic and onion powder), a little more coffee, and bug spray. We're on an island, and with that comes extra "visitors", lol. We're fine with that. We're VERY frequent visitors to Hawai'i. And we'll be back every year. We have a lot of family on the islands. Thank you or a very comfortable stay.

Loved the view of the Marina & Ocean. My only comments would be that the Condo needs some repairs & maintenance. The walls & cupboards need painting and repairs. The tub drain was clogged and kept backing up, the surround was damaged and repaired with duct tape. It would also be nice if there was another chair to compliment the sofa. However, overall the condo was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy and warm Condo

Overall experience was wonderful, it did NOT match the photos on the website, that's what made our decision to book here. James the property manager was so accommodating to us and he went out of his way to make us as comfortable as possible during our stay. Waikiki Vacation Rental

It didn’t disappoint. Accommodations were great and staff very responsive. There is some noise because of the restaurants below but that’s actually a bonus too for convenience. You can walk to dozens of things and great location for shuttle pickups if you book events. Also good view of the Hilton’s Friday night fireworks. Only thing I wished it had was a pool but the ocean front beach is a three minute walk.

Great and open space

2. All of the appliances and amenities worked fine.
3. View is nice and we were able to see the Friday Fireworks from the Hilton Village.
4. Communication is smooth with Paul, the property manager.
5. Place is close to a lot of restaurants and convenient stores and most especially the beach and the lagoon.
6. Place is clean for the most part except that the floor needs to be mopped thoroughly.
Other than that, everything else is a plus. Would recommend this place to stay for your vacation.

Great Location and View

Kailua-Kona, United States, October 18, 2021 Stayed for 4 days in October 2021I really enjoyed staying at the property. It was clean and everything worked. A little put of by the bidet, but no mind. Could have used a moderate sized trash can. I loved looking over at the marina and the ocean.

Ilikai Marina
Greg G. from United States, October 2, 2021 Stayed for 3 days in September 2021The property was very clean and located near Waikiki. We were comfortable. The kitchen will need to be updated. It has a awesome view of the Marina and is within walking distance of everything. Like most buildings in Waikiki, it is old. Probably built in the 60s and outside really needs to be updated. Recommend adding a security feature that prevents strangers walking inside the building, in particular the hallways. I was surprised by the large number of homeless people in the area.

Beautiful Ilikai Marina

The apartment is clean, light, airy, has great AC, is convenient to so many things, and has a wonderful view of the Marina. Prop Mgmt was also great and quick to respond when something went wrong. Would definitely stay again. only critique would be a recommendation to replace the old dishwasher.

Perfect for our needs

Perfect location, walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants. Parking in the building was a huge perk. Condo was clean, kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Just a bit away from Waikiki and all the craziness
Lois W. from Bainbridge Island, US, March 14, 2020 Stayed for 5 days in February 2020We really enjoyed being at the marina which is about a mile from Waikiki beach. We enjoyed walking to the beach, people watching, our hike up to Diamond Head summit and our drive around the island. We did the loop.
The condo was wonderful. Very clean with a washlet. I had seen them online with fabulous reviews but this is the first time seeing and using one. I'm definitely sold and will be getting one. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans and dishes. It even has 2 sinks (odd)! There are coffee filters and I think they had coffee for one day but we only drink decaf. There is an ABC store just across the street so it has anything that you need there. The bed was good. We really enjoyed the fireworks and the sunsets from the balcony. There were beach towels and a tote to use and I think some other beach stuff that we did not need to use.
Michelle checked us in and was absolutely delightful to visit with!
The first night we got to the condo we decided we would go to the Chart House which is in the building. We had a wonderful dinner there. They had a 4 course fixed price menu for 2 that was fabulous. It was a lot of food. 2 full size appetizers, soup/salad, a huge 2 lb steak, and 2 full desserts. We had leftovers for the next day.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Wonderful vacation spot!

Check-in and Check-out were easy and problem free.
Friday Fireworks from Balcony. Easy walk to Lagoon, McDonalds and ABC Store.
Pleasant walk to Waikiki. Easy walk or drive to Ala Moana Shopping Center with tons of shopping and food choices. If you have a car, get the parking thru Captain Cook, we were always able to get a space on level G and walk a few minutes to the unit.

Wonderful location and great apartment

Apartment was in great location overlooking the Marina. We had great view of the Friday night Fireworks as well as beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Apartment was very clean and nicely styled with a huge King size bed. Quick walk to main street to catch buses. Several nice restaurants in close proximity and an ABC store on the corner. Great value for money, very competitive pricing and no resort fees. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. Loved it.
