5 night rental
United States, 16. April 2023 Stayed for 5 days in April, 2023The 3 bedroom condo at the Luana was comfortable and spacious for our group. Not only were the bedrooms large, but having a living room was much appreciated for relaxing with everyone together. In the kitchen, however, we noticed a few flies throughout our stay. The flies may have been coming in through the gap between the double doors in the living room, the doors that lead to the outside stairs. Somehow covering that gap in the doors may help. Regarding the air conditioning units, one of the remote controls may have been broken or switched with another room, so it was difficult to control the temperature in the largest bedroom. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to others.

Waikiki Rental
Maple Grove US, 19. April 2022 Stayed for 3 days in April, 2022Our stay was for a short time to visit the sights on Oahu. Rental was as photos showed, only thing was it was on the 2nd floor right over the entrance. You could hear all the noise from other guests coming in and from the street. The glass doors were taped off to the entrance.

Facilities / property layout amenities as per description. Very clean. Highly recommended. Would definitely go back!

Convenient, Clean and Comfortable

There were 3 couples so we were each comfortable in tour own bedroom. The place was spacious and super clean and had all the amenities we needed, plus the AC in each room was a plus! It's a little strange at first to be on the mezzanine level but the noise wasn't an issue at all. Plus we were able to enjoy the free happy hour just outside our place on Wednesday and Friday (5-6pm!) We all agreed we'd stay here again - perfect location, walking distance to grocery store, beach, restaurants, even our rental car pickup location. In addition, we used the app Biki and there's a bike station just across the street so we were able to ride bikes all over the place! And James came over when we first checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had - I already want to go back!

The pool and BBQ area was amazing.
The beach was only 10 minutes away.
Huge amount of space.
Waikiki is a beautiful place and the locals are very friendly.
The hotel welcome drinks were a hit. We met some lovely people whom we now call friends.

Rooms were very spacious apartment was really well located walk to central Waikiki or Aloa Moana mall. Yoga every other day and good gym. Perfect for large family or 3 couples. Only downside is one bathroom but there is a public restroom not far from the apartment on the same floor. Main bedroom bed could do with replacing think it might be two mattresses created roll away from each other with a hump in the middle, still slept ok but all others were very comfortable.

We were worried about only having one bathroom for 4 people, but we had access to another bathroom on the same floor so it was never an issue. Luana M350 review
Arnold C. from West Lafayette United States, 06. January 2018 Stayed for 6 days in December, 2017We stayed in Luana M350 between Christmas and New Years 2017. Overall I gave it 3 stars because there were some really great parts and some not so great parts.
The good:
Reserved parking spot. This was by far the most useful for us. The reserved spot is inside the garage and really close to the unit. So getting to/from the car is super convenient. No waiting for valet or winding through a large garage to find a spot.
The unit's location is in a great spot in Waikiki within walking distance to most places. Lots of things to walk to and restaurants close by.
Overall the unit was maintained well and very clean. Beds were reasonably comfortable.
Electronic entry is nice so you never have to worry about losing a key.
The Bad:
It's on the 2nd floor overlooking the lobby on one side and the valet on the other side. It's right near Kalakaua Avenue. So during the day there's noise from the hotel lobby and at night there's noise from the street.
The rooms only have shade blinds that reduce the light but not blackout blinds, so if you plan to change at night you need to set up the privacy screens.
The Ugly:
Only one bathroom for 3 bedroom. For our family of 4 it was manageable but if you had 6 people, it wouldn't be manageable.Response from Captain Cook Real Estate

I used it at my daughter's wedding ceremony

November 2017 Stayed for 6 days in November, 2017I used it at my daughter 's wedding ceremony with my daughter' s couple, my partner 's parents and our couple. As soon as I entered the room, everyone was delighted in a nice room. The actual room is very nice and very satisfied than I see it in the picture. I do not think that such satisfaction could be obtained with an ordinary condominium. Property manager 's handsome JAMES was good at Japanese, check in was also polite and very relieved. The parking lot was saved by being free in the underground of the hotel though it was a good parking lot where Dodge 's Grand Caravan was stopped normally. However, there is a gap in the glass door of the deadline that one dissatisfaction is, the outside sound comes into the room. I think that it is perfect when entrance and deadline glass doors become double doors.

I was a bit hesitant at first but with a family of 5 we took the chance. We are glad we did, reading all of the reviews before departure left me with some questions. But all were either answered before or when I got there. Rental was described correctly and had all that I expected as far a rental. Earlier complaints are things not controlled by Captain Cook but by the Luana Property. Visit was best ever front desk was great help also. I would highly recommend both Captain Cook Resorts and Luana Property for anyone's stay.

Well located in Waikiki and close to the beach. The bedrooms were very spacious with plenty of linen, towels and cupboard space etc. Air con in all rooms. And the gym and pool were both frequented by us. And the staff were all very friendly and helpful. All in all....a great holiday!

Sandy Bay Australia, 05. May 2017 Stayed for 5 days in April, 2017Positives: This rental apartment is in a great location in Waikiki. There are three spacious bedrooms and space to flop and put your feet up. Kitchen was well equipped.
Negatives: Two of the bedrooms have windows fronting the street and the blinds are NOT block-out so all activity in the bedrooms clearly visible from the street at night. A lot of street noise so bring your ear plugs.Response from Captain Cook Real Estate

Manheim United States, 08. March 2017 Stayed for 5 days in February, 2017Very nice, large and clean. Looks new. Much nicer than the pictures. Management was very helpful. Great location, although 2 of the bedrooms are next to a fairly busy road. Each night I woke from loud motorcycles and drunks. The only other minor thing is when you have 6 people only having 1 bathroom can be a bit of a pain.

Comfortable, clean and spacious

The only downside was the bathroom door handle was broken. One of the guest was stuck in the bathroom for an hour while hotel maintenance was trying to undo the door lock and handle. Luxury in Hawaii

To say we were pleased with it is an understatement. The apartment although located in a hotel was very
private and tucked away. The apartment was expansive
and well equipped even having washing up detergent, tissues etc available.The rooms were very spacious and appointed to cater for all needs. The apartment was very modern and airy. The property manager was friendly and professional and explained everything clearly.The location of the apartment was perfect as we were able to walk to the shops and beach easily. Stunning appartment

We were met Jessica at the apartment for check in, she was full of info and able to answer any questions we had. She gave us a rundown of the appartment and Waikiki. The appartment really has that "wow" factor, it was big, clean and certinaly plush. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would require in a kitchen right down to the wine fridge. Beautiful Luxurious Rental - must stay here!

Everything was walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Very convenient if you have a car as well since there is parking available. Spacious and very comfortable for a party of 6. The rooms were very modern and clean. Loved the large windows and automatic blinds to wake up in the morning to beautiful Hawaii. Jessica was on vacation, but Paul greeted us and was very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here again and can't wait to return to Hawaii.

The property was clean, modern, upscale and had a great location. We loved having a parking pass which allowed us to always have a spot to park. The location was great for a quick walk to Waikiki, pool was wonderful and the full kitchen was ideal for our family. Temperature could be regulated in each room and all family members loved setting their own temp. at their level of comfort. The property was as described and looked like the pictures, although it actually feels bigger than pictures display.

Nice, spacious apartment
Red Hill Australia, 19. March 2016 Stayed for 9 days in January, 2016We stayed at this property for 9 nights over the January holiday break.
We enjoyed use of the hotel facilities including the gym, laundry, pool and BBQ's however we did find that the hotel BBQ’s weren’t sufficiently lit at night.
Our room was large, modern and comfortable with big screen TV’s located in each room. The kitchen was clean on our arrival and well stocked. We also had our own pod coffee machine which we loved. The beds were very comfortable but our family felt the pillows were too soft for our liking so it would have been good firmer options were available for the pillows.
We loved the spacious bedrooms however I would like to point out to anyone looking at this condo, that it is located on the Mezzanine level near the foyer and at front of the hotel so it’s never quiet.
Our only major complaint was the linen was not all clean on our arrival. Two of our towels had stains on them and one was torn badly. We ended up re-laundering them dirty ones ourselves. Our white quilt cover also had what looked like water stains on them. However there was a spare quilt cover provided in the cupboard so we just used that.
This property is located a short walk from the Waikiki town centre however we enjoyed the walk. This hotel is located on a really nice strip with many designer stores & I looked forward to the regular strolls.
Overall, this accommodation was good value for money. We enjoyed our stay with the exception to the linen issues.

Grill area and Pool. Our Property Manager Jessica was very nice and professional. She let us check out late which worked very well with our flights! We even ran into a guest that had stayed there previously and was envious that we booked it first. Definitely would stay in this gem again!

Beautiful apartment

December 2015 Stayed for 10 days in November, 2015Room m350 (name changed to m250) was a great apartment - supersized bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with the exception of a dishwasher which would have been useful, nice sitting area with luxury furniture throughout. WiFi was free which very useful as well. Location was good, at the beginning of the strip so shops and restaurants were close, Waikiki beach was about a 15 min walk which you barely feel as the walk is really nice and lots of distractions along the way. Only negatives were the entry/exit doors which had barely any sound proofing qualities (need to change these to solid wood doors), the shades in the far left bedrooms were see through at night so people could see in when the lights were on and also the noise from cars/police at night was a bit annoying (being on the mezzanine floor not much can be done about this). Overall great place to stay.

Better than expected

I was able to do everything online and the response to my inquiries were answered right away. Jennifer met us at the place and gave us a warm friendly welcome. The location is only a few blocks from the beach and right next door to some amazing shopping! I would give this place, Captain Cook and Jennifer 10 stars if I could!
