I especially like this condo in the waikiki location. It is central and all the food chains and shopping is within 200-300 yards away. This particular unit is quiet and face the sunset side. In all, Marine Surf is my most favourite and many units to choose from. This unit needs some minor repairs, but it won't stop me from booking this particular unit again.

Everything was convenient and clean. The property manager explained everything to us upon arrival. The property was great for the 2 of us and the location was perfect. Everything is within walking distance. We really enjoyed our visit to Hawaii and would definitely recommend this property. We could see the Friday fireworks from our room. The kitchen had everything we needed.

We had a nice stay stay here. The location is great, the apartment was pleasant and clean. A couple things to note for this stay: - only 1 beach towel per person for the entire stay is provided. Only 2 bath towels per person. Only 1 small bar of soap is provided for bathroom sink and shower to use. - the sliding glass door to the balcony is hard to open and only opens a little bit. - the room could use some more table space or a place to spread your things out on. Only one side of the bed has a small nightside table, the other side is a chair. - the bedding is very basic. Sheets are very basic and the pillows aren’t very great. After 4/5 days I had to get a massage from a stiff neck. - when I went to use the tea kettle I found it was rusted inside. I let them know when they called a few days in that they need to replace. Also expect allot of street noise and construction in the area. The 2 beach chairs to use surely come in handy. Overall a nice stay, but just a few things could use improving!

Building is older and has the run down look both inside and out but our condo 1902 had been updated. Bathtub did not drain efficiently and what would be wrong with providing a few more rolls of toilet paper. A map or a few tourist information materials would be a good idea as we had never been and didn’t know our whereabouts. These are small things and easily remedied. Mahalo Hawaii.

this is out second time in this building with captain cook! great room and location, only complaints is the bathtub would not drain well and they didnt leave much toilet paper for the length of time we were staying. overall 9/10

The best location. Have stayed at Marine Surf before. The unit was of a very high standard and meet our expectations. The only negative was the loud music from a nearby venue that occurred each night.

The studio was in the perfect location close to the main strip. The property managers addressed my concerns promptly. I was pleased by the decor and condition of the studio. I watched the Friday night fireworks from the balcony. The views of the city were great. The sliding door doesn’t lock properly and I informed James about it. My only complaint is the noise level from the street. The karaoke bar had singing until 10 pm most nights. Sometimes, people drove up and down the streets on mopeds making loud noise at 3 am. I’m a light sleeper so having soundproof sliding doors would make a huge difference. If you love the city life and want to be in the heart of things, this is the perfect place for you. Overall, I had a pleasant stay there. The accommodations were just right to meet my needs. I would consider using Captain Cook Real Estate again.

I have been to Waikiki many times, but this was my first condo. The building is close to many restaurants (fast to fine) and having my own parking space was handy. The condo was nicely updated and had all the amenities I needed. James with Captain Cook greeted me upon arrival and explained the condo features. Captain Cook also called during my stay to make sure all was well. I will be back!

Very clean, updated condo with everything all the amenities. The view is awesome and you can see the ocean and the Friday fireworks. Very close to the beach and is in the heart of Waikiki close to many great restaurants and of course shopping for the gals.

We had an amazing time on Oahu. Jessica, our property manager made checking in easy by walking us through the process and even snapping pictures of what to look for. The room was clean, neat, and spacious. The location of the building is in a prime spot in the middle of Waikiki close to tons of popular eating spots and a quick walk to the beach. Our stay was during the Lokahi Annual Festival In February so the main street (Kalakaua) was closed off for most of the day which made traffic a little hectic but did not directly effect getting in and out of our garage. There was construction going on around our building due to all the new condos being built which began at 7-7:30am every morning which we didn't mind since we were early risers anyway. Walls are slightly thin so it made be hard if you're a light sleeper. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in the Marine Surf before and chose it again for it's convenient location, price compared to most hotels, no daily resort fee and a parking space included. This was our first time staying in 1902.
Everything was clean and in great condition. Everything we need to begin our stay was provided. Rather than the two chairs I would have preferred a couch but it wasn't' a deal breaker.
Overall it was a very nice stay.

The unit is well appointed and centrally located to all the Waikiki sites. It is bright, and feels spacious for a studio--- the space has been optimized. A nice break from having to eat out for each meal with a fully equipped kitchen!
The beach is a short block and a half walk, and there is a supermarket 2 blocks away. Lots of choices for buses to downtown, and other parts of the island right out side on Kuhio.

A Jessica foi ótima, mas a limpeza e o funcionamento da apartamento deixou um pouco a deseja, Ar condicionado antiquado, a chave de energia caia a toda hora, as luzes não funionaram e alimpeza não estava muito boa.
A localização é excelente. Mas é muito barulhenta.

The condo was good, very clean and quite. Just what I wanted. The building is getting old and needs some repair. Most negative aspect is the basement parking which smells terrible.

Except location and kitchen facility, this place was not for us. The unit is exposed to street noise. We could hear people screaming at night and early morning truck moving noise. The window covering was flimsy not enough to block the light from out side when it's needed for sleep. Bath room had unpleasant odor. TV screen quality was poor. Bedding was poor and seems worn out.

It sounds like the housekeeping team may have missed the ticket on quality control on the linens and bathroom. Had you notified us right away, we would have had Housekeeping return to ensure everything was brought up to our high standards. We appreciate the feedback about the TV screen and will look into its replacement. Lastly, many visitors don't realize that Waikiki is a very busy little city and can be quite noisy at times. This was my initial VRBO experience, and it was terrific. I don't know if it was VRBO or Captain Cook Rentals, but, this worked beyond my expectations. All aspects of this Marine Surf rental were as good or better than shown on the website.
Two short blocks to Waikiki beach and our Hawaii party began. The only thing missing were a couple of beach chairs in the studio but a quick trip to Costco remedied that. After we used them for 8 days, they were a nice gift to my Hawaian relatives.
VRBO is a keeper and Captain Cook will be a must for me in Hawaii.

It's nice to see that some owners still care about their properties and the difference a well taken care of home can make on return business. From beginning to end, this was a great experience. Working with the Captain Cook system and staff, to arrival and departure, each step was simple,easy, yet exceeded my expectations. This particular studio was wonderful. I had some reservations about staying in Waikiki, but this was a great surprise. Very well kept and updated unit, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully stocked with high quality towels, extra linens and the reserved parking was so fantastic. The unit was quiet. ...i did not hear any of the Waikiki hustle and bustle at night. I would definitely recommend this property and i would stay here or with Captain Cook again.

Jessica was very welcoming upon our arrival at the condo (despite the late hour because of a delayed flight)! The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay, even beach towels! Being centrally located, we were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping.

Everything was great: the unit, Jessica the property manager, etc. The asterisk: the parking stall assigned to this unit is in a location accessible to the public. I came back very late on a Saturday night to find it occupied. I located a security guard who called a tow truck. But the towing company said I would have to wait 20-30 minutes to sign off on the towing. As an alternative, the security guard directed me to a pay spot and then left a note to his colleagues not to have ME towed and I went to bed. As I expected, the next morning the miscreant was gone. So: if you don't have a car, its not an issue. If you do, watch out on weekend nights in Waikiki. Jessica indicated that she would talk to the building manager about how to handle this situation going forward.

Perfect room for 2 people. Location was great. Just off the busy roads in Waikiki (makes driving in and out easy), but still close enough to walk.
High enough to get nice breeze. Room was clean and provided all the amenities.
Only drawback is that the bar below was noisy every night. But closing the window would block out most of it.

I spent a week at the unit with my son. The location is super convenient as it is a short walk to Waikiki beach, shopping areas and plenty of dining places. There're several convenient stores too.
The condo got everything we need. It comes with free parking space. Security system is great. The view from the balcony is fantastic.
We are happy about this unit and will definitely return in the future.

The experience was brilliant...much greater than anticipated. This was owing in no small part to the quality of accommodation and its location. The only downside was that we booked for only 10 nights....should have been 100!!

We stumbled across this property as a last minute work trip came up for my husband (6 days notice). It was incredible. Jessica was super friendly, patient (our flight was delayed an hour and we had a snafu at the car rental) when we arrived about 2 hours past our expected time, and explained everything to us. We really had no questions. The company even itemized out a separate receipt for us since we paid a few days independent of the days my husband's company paid. The condo is in pristine condition, located between the beach and the Ala Wai canal. The free parking made it less expensive than other hotels in the area. It was easy to access the highway. I had never rented a condo before and was a little hesitant that it would not meet the descriptions. I had been looking for properties on a recommendation from a friend for a trip we are taking this summer to the Big Island and decided to try the web sight for Waikiki. I'm really glad I did. It was nice to have a refrigerator to store soda, water and left overs from dinner. And much more roomy than a hotel room. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
