CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Beginning October 27, 2025, Marine Surf will undergo a major exterior concrete repair and painting project. Expected to last approximately 6–12 months (weather & conditions permitting). For the duration of the project: (1) The pool will be closed, (2) Construction noise expected Mon–Fri, 8am–4:30pm, (3) Unit lanai will be closed and unavailable for use February 2–May 1, 2026, (4) Unit's designated parking space will be unavailable for use January 12–30, 2026 during work hours Mon–Fri, 8am–4:30pm. Alternate day-time parking can be found in the immediately surrounding area and reimbursed up to $25/day. (Exact construction dates subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. 20% rent discount/refund will be applied at Check-Out for applicable days of stay affected by lanai closure.)
Marine Surf is centrally located in the heart of Waikiki – close to restaurants and shopping and just a short walk to the best swimming and surfing beaches in Waikiki! SMALL pool on site, and convenient coin-operated laundry facilities located on each floor. PLEASE NOTE: Lower floors may experience some noise from street and nearby restaurants.

No Pets, No Parties, No Smoking/Vaping (including in the condo, on the balcony/lanai, or in any of the building's public spaces). Violations are subject to a $500 fine, plus actual costs for odor removal or if anything needs replacement due to tar, ashes, or burns.

Great stay in the heart of Waikiki

The studio was spotless, fully equipped, and perfectly organized. The location is ideal, right in the center of Waikiki, and having a private parking spot was a big advantage since parking in the area can be tricky.
The building facilities were great, and we appreciated having drinking water available on the ground floor. The bed was a bit soft for our taste but still comfortable and fine for our stay.
Communication with James was also great. He was responsive, helpful, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out.

Great location and fully stocked rental

The rental had everything we needed plus more which made staying there very convenient. We really appreciated how accommodating the management company was. Ear plugs are needed as the street noise is quite loud.

Great place in a great location

We climbed Diamond Head, rode the glass bottom boat, spent hours on the beach. It’s walking distance to the zoo and aquarium and lots of great places to eat. And it’s right across the street from Starbucks!!

Las Vegas, United States, November 7, 2024 Stayed for 42 days in September 2024we very much enjoyed our 6 week stay at marine surf # 902. we enjoyed the lower unit,clean,sort of cozy being on the corner of the condo,looking on to kuhio & R hawn
aves.we also enjoy the local food,slower pace & trade winds.tana has been busy shopping around & being in the central area helped alot. we vist hawaii ocasionally
and stay at higher floors,but false fire alarms could be a hastle. 6 floors to the parking level was convenient but, some drivers dont park proper in their stalls & that poses a problem exiting your stall. we
will look forward staying at 902 again

Regarding the paper towels and toilet paper, I do apologize if we did not meet your expectations, but I would like to explain that this is standard practice for virtually all vacation rentals in Hawaiʻi. As stated in our FAQs we provide Start-Up Supplies. As a vacation rental is not a full-service resort hotel, and we do not have on-site housekeeping staff, we are not able to offer amenities that a resort hotel would typically offer, such as daily housekeeping, linen service, or replenishment of your start-up supplies. I do apologize if that was not adequately conveyed, but please understand that this is an industry standard and one of the basic differences between a vacation rental condo vs. a full-service hotel room stay. We value you as a customer and hope you will keep us in mind for future vacation plans.

Nice stay in the heart of Wakiki
Mississauga, Canada, September 10, 2024 Stayed for 5 days in August 2024Amazing location with parking and AC! Check in/out instructions were clear and simple. Property was clean and decor was cute. Equipped with towels, beach towels, beach totes, chairs, and more which made the stay more homey. The only thing was that there was no hand soap available, we found hand soap under the kitchen sink (which might have been left from previous customers?). Although the listing states that there will be no housekeeping or replenishing of shampoo/conditioner/body wash, there was only 1 travel size of each for 2 people and 5 nights of stay. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay.

Dedicated parking space was a super plus, though the parking deck is compact and tight to move around in. Communication was great and gaining access on arrival was ‘tricky’ but well thought out. Would rent again.

July 14-21 stay

It had all of the things we needed for our stay, including a few spices, cooking spray, cleaning supplies. We learned not to turn the water faucets for the shower shouldn't be turned too far or else you will be in ankle deep water. It was very loud but that was due to being so close to things.

Great Place To Stay!

They had everything we needed for our week stay including extras like beach towels, chairs and toys. Our only two concerns were the tub wouldn't drain (which we would temporarily fix with the plunger) and the noise from outside was an annoyance. They did offer to come have a plumber look at the tub, but I wasn't sure if our schedule so I told them just to do it when we left. The AC was nice and the location was just fine for us! The biggest bonus was the free parking spot. We would definitely stay here again!

Great visit

Bathroom shower curtain needs replacing and a bigger thicker bath mat. Bathroom fan is needed. Could use a desk to do office work. Cars half parked in my space and other cars not fully parked in their space making it hard to pass. Would prefer location towards Diamond Head or Ala Moana to drive out of Waikiki quickly to meetings. Would like future discounts if possible.

Nicely renovated and central location
Sterling, United States, March 4, 2024 Stayed for 9 days in February 2024The place was tastefully decorated and the designated parking spot that comes with the rental is a huge plus. The location is very convenient with restaurants, shops and the beach in walking distance. Noise from the tiki bar downstairs (very loud) and a fair amount of street noise (e.g. people screaming, cars/bikes racing, sirens from police chasing them) every night was bothersome. Additional noise reduction (e.g. better sliding doors) would be helpful but it's an older building and in dead center of Waikiki so a bit unavoidable.

Convenient and cute condo

I arrived early and they were able to accommodate me with early check-in, which I really appreciated. The unit was as advertised and looked exactly like the photos. The only negatives were 1) the bathtub drained really slowly and 2) I couldn't figure out how to get the cable to work (not a big deal since I didn't come to Hawaii to watch TV). Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

Great location for a solo traveler!

I recently visited as a solo traveler, and the Marine Surf studio condo suited my needs perfectly. It was a block away from the Sheraton, where I was attending a conference. I could go back and forth almost as though I were staying at the conference hotel! Comfortable and convenient -- and though I didn't need it this time -- it has parking, too. Check in and out was simple, and Captain Cook staff was, as always, responsive and helpful. Mahalo for another perfect visit!

Perfect spot

It was a perfect location with only minutes to the main shopping strip and surrounded by great places to eat. The beach was a very short 10m walk and the property supplied beach bags and towels. The apartment itself was one if the best we’ve stayed in. The kitchen was fully functional with everything you need as if you were at home. We bought fruit to have and even made juices from the leftovers as there was a ninja juicer there. I cannot recommend this home enough. Comfortable bed. And a balcony to dry towels and clothes each day after a swim. Absolutely Perfect.

Nicely renovated studio in great location
Edmonton, CA, January 21, 2023 Stayed for 6 days in January 2023We loved this studio, and its location in Waikiki. Everything is close by. Unit was well equipped with all you need for your convenience (having big beach bag, and beach blanket available to use was a nice touch). My husband and I enjoyed morning walks alongside the canal, short walks to the beach and restaurants. It gets a bit noisy at night, but the loud music usually stops at 10 pm. It did not bother us much at all. Nice little lanai was great to have and enjoy morning coffee and breakfast out in a fresh air. We found PAIA fish market - seafood restaurant very close and enjoyed a few meals there. There is also a nice steak house restaurant in the building. Property management was excellent! We would highly recommend this studio to couples.
