Great condo

The ac was plenty to keep us washington cold weather people nice and cool when we needed it. The condo was pretty clean, the bidet was great, shower was amazing The only thing that could have been better was the coffee pot. I would have loved to have a keurig, the coffee pot was a little touch and go and leaked a few times due to me not knowing how to use it, but that was fine I got the hang of it. As well as the dryer took 2 rounds to dry our clothes, but also not a big deal, Waikiki is about 2 blocks of walking till your feet hit the sand, great location, we had so much within walking distance. The manager Paul was super responsive when we arrived never kept me waiting. I will absolutely be back next year, so happy I found a place that's perfect for our family of 5, my son had no issues sleeping on the hideaway bed/couch. We come to Oahu every year and I'm counting the days to go back and book with captin cook resorts. Thank you so much for allowing our family to enjoy your beautiful condo, I will also mention there was never any loud noises, couldn't hear anything from the outside. That was great!

The floor was a bit dirty so I called the property manager to ask for a Swiffer. Within 30 minutes the cleaner came, vacuumed and sweepers the entire place. Later that day they bought and dropped off a Swiffer as well. Couldn't be happier with the service.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

The only drawback was that the second bedroom does not have a closet or a dresser so there was no where to put clothes.

We were within walking distance of the strip AND beach (literally a block away from both). The condo is up to date, tech-wise (smart toilet, central air, etc.). Parking is a block away from the premise, but that's not too bad considering the location.

Grays beach is super close which is slightly less packed than Waikiki. The condo is fully upgraded and even includes beach chairs, towels, and some sand toys for kids. W/D in unit is very convenient. Paul was great upon arrival and helped us bring everything in. Parking is a few blocks away if you have your own vehicle. Not a huge inconvenience but definitely keep that in mind (it’s free). Also a delicious shaved ice place is right downstairs! Would definitely stay here again!

Don't judge a unit by the building
Norman K. from Foster City Unknown, 22. April 2021 Stayed for 6 days in April, 2021The Niihau building is old and very unattractive looking from the street. The elevator area is even more concerning. The unit #505 is beautiful and the complete opposite of the building. The new, clean and well appointed. The kitchen is very well equipped with new appliances and dishes/silverware. There is also beach equipment available (e.g, chairs, mats, etc.). The inside lighting is excellent. The location is convenient to the beach and also to Kalakaua Ave. The bathroom is well-equipped with the automatic Toto Washlet toilet along with extra towels. The washer and dryer are great but are in the bedroom so you will have do your laundry during the day. I was concerned with possible noise due to its location but this unit is at the very end of building, so it away from the street. (They were starting to paint the exterior of the Niihau Building when we left.)

Home away from home!!!
Centuria A. from Chicago US, 15. April 2021 Stayed for 5 days in March, 2021Loved this location!!!! First off I want to say that don’t let the buildings exterior turn you away!!! This condo looks just like the pictures and more!!!! The check in process was easy, our property manager was always just a phone call away. The condo has a full kitchen w appliances if you like cooking on vacation to cut down the cost of buying food. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was amazing with its spa like features and electric toilet, fog free mirrors and waterfall shower. Beach towels and chairs were available to us along with some beach toys and a cooler !!! Oh yeah and the beach is only a 5 min walk, we would watch the sunset in the evening. We rented a car so having free parking only 3 mins away was great! (if you live in a major city you know how crazy finding parking can be).
Shopping, restaurants, bars and corner shops are just around the corner to enjoy the nightlife. Also don’t forget to try the snow cone place on the ground level of the building it’s amazingly good!!!! I well recommend this place to everyone, it truly is a Diamond.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Family Vacation

Every question I had was answered by Paul quickly and we felt he sincerely cared our trip went well. We were even able to get a late check out that really helped since our flight departed at 8:25pm.
