With a full kitchen, free on-site parking for 1 vehicle, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and no resort fees, this vacation rental is perfect for couples and small families to enjoy a carefree Hawaiian getaway. Sleeps Max 4 Guests.
The Waikiki Banyan is a favorite of repeat visitors with its host of amenities including a pool, hot tubs, BBQ area, and more. All this and just a short 2-block walk to beautiful Waikiki Beach, plus shops, restaurants, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and Kapiolani Park! Public transportation is readily available, with stops located right outside the building on Kuhio Avenue.
*BUILDING NOTE: The entire recreation deck, including pool, hot tubs, and BBQ area, will be closed for renovations from April 7, 2025–June 30, 2026. Work hours will be restricted to 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday. Noise is expected. Work dates are subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for the inconvenience and will make every effort to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

No Pets, No Parties, No Smoking/Vaping (including in the condo, on the balcony/lanai, or in any of the building's public spaces). Violations are subject to a $500 fine, plus actual costs for odor removal or if anything needs replacement due to tar, ashes, or burns.

Winnipeg, Canada, March 3, 2025 Stayed for 7 days in February 2025I would recommend this location and overall we had a really good stay. The location is convenient (close to beach, Diamond Head, restaurants, shopping), room was very clean, and the king bed was really comfortable. We were overall happy and would definitely come back. There were just a few minor things (sofa bed needs repair, toaster and phone did not work), but aside from that no major issues. I let the property manager know so hopefully those get fixed soon as that's the only reason for my lower stars. Sofa bed would not be very comfortable for most adults but it's ok for kids.

Great unit and free parking!
New York, US, January 10, 2025 Stayed for 10 days in December 2024This is a nice clean unit with mountain/city views and free parking. Only a couple of blocks to the more open section of beach(no hotels right up to the sand) near the east end of Waikiki. Very similar floor plan to the units across the street at the Waikiki Sunset. We saved several hundred dollars for 10 days total by staying here. If you plan to cook a lot, there is not much counter space and, as fully disclosed in their ad, no dishwasher But I think most people prefer to enjoy Oahu’s sights and international cuisine. There were always spots open in the free parking garage. The beams are low, so SUVs ok but vans won’t fit. The elevators were sometimes a wait, so we were happy to just be on the 11th floor to shorten the ride.

Whe our daughter and granddaughter was with us, we stayed at the luxury Waikiki Beach Tower so this definitely spoiled us. However, the Waikiki Banyan could use some interior update other wise it was satisfactory.

Waikiki stay

The carpet and couch is a little old but the mattress on the couch bed was very comfortable. There was snorkel equipment, chairs and a little ice chest we took to the beach several times. It's a really close walk to the beach and stores. We couldn't get the roku working and the sliding doors in the unit wouldn't slide really well. The elevators in this facility are so slow so expect to wait awhile to be able to get a ride on them. But overall great stay.

Great spot to be

The views that you wake up to are gorgeous.
Having a kitchen was really helpful. Everything worked great too and the place was well stocked.
We would come back to the same place in a heartbeat.
The price reasonably reflected it, so not a negative, but the condo is probably due for a replacement of the carpet.
Folks were great to deal with and check-in/check out was very easy!

Perfect for a couple exploring the island!!

It has literally everything you need and we will most likely be back to visit again in our life time! The only minor things to note, were an hour delayed check in (we just utilized this time for lunch as we landed at 1 pm), some construction going on throughout the condo (above us and on the amenities deck) but it did not start until about 8 or 9 am and wasn’t super loud - also you can hear the elevator going up and down from time to time, but with a TV or fan on, neither of these things were too much of a bother. We really appreciated The dishes and appliances provided, as well as the beach chairs and body boards! There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets that we utilized as well. Overall, we are extremely happy with our choice to stay here on our vacation and definitely recommend this unit. Mahalo!!

Central/all you need/close by to main Street and Beach

The place has everything you need, kitchen, bathroom plentiful, not toouch of storage place in living room, the only downside. But it's very central, 5 minutes walk to the beach,had a parking spot included extra bonus for my family and friends, parking can be quite a challenge around the area

Great stay for a small family.

We were missing our parking pass and he hand delivered it. Also when you have a young child having access to laundry was really important. It was about 2.50 a load and you can pay through an app. The best part of the rental was the sliding door dividing the sleeping area and the living room. While our baby slept we were able to be in the living room and watch tv well past his bedtime. We would definitely stay again.
