The Waikiki Banyan is a favorite of repeat visitors with its host of amenities including a pool, hot tubs, BBQ area, and more. All this and just a short 2-block walk to beautiful Waikiki Beach, plus shops, restaurants, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and Kapiolani Park! Public transportation is readily available, with stops located right outside the building on Kuhio Avenue.
*BUILDING NOTE: The entire recreation deck, including pool, hot tubs, and BBQ area, will be closed for renovations from April 7, 2025–June 30, 2026. Work hours will be restricted to 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday. Noise is expected. Work dates are subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for the inconvenience and will make every effort to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

No Pets, No Parties, No Smoking/Vaping (including in the condo, on the balcony/lanai, or in any of the building's public spaces). Violations are subject to a $500 fine, plus actual costs for odor removal or if anything needs replacement due to tar, ashes, or burns.

- When Waikiki's center has moved to west, this condo is located near the east end.
- They don't have a clothes iron.

MAEBASHISHI, Japan, September 17, 2025 Stayed for 7 days in August 2025昨年、今年と妻と二人で1週間ほど利用しましたが、部屋の広さは十分でのんびりと過ごす事ができました。ハワイではまだ少ないウオシュレットもありストレスを感じずに生活でき来年もまた滞在したいと思っています。12時にチェックインもでき現地担当者(バイロン)の対応も十分でした。
ハワイでのんびりしたい人にはお勧めの部屋だと思います。

でも残念なのはセイフティーボックスがないことです。
あとベッドが二台ありますが一台はシングルでした。

Saskatoon, CA, February 10, 2024 Stayed for 21 days in January 2024Bathroom window was held closed with chopsticks?
Couch hide-a-bed in the living room very uncomfortable to the point that you almost could not use it.
Safe did not work.
Had trouble with the TV but issue was resolved with a phone call. Area rug was dirty.
Otherwise, we liked the room. Kitchen and bedroom were spotless. Liked having the dining-room table, the bathtub grab bars. Security door was good. Even though we were beside the laundry room, we never heard a sound, and it was very convenient.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Wonderful stay

Outstanding stay at a clean and scenic gem in Waikiki

The room boasts views of the Ocean and Diamond Head and is very well-kept, clean, and well-lit.
The Lanai area is fantastic, and after a long day playing with the kids at the beach, it's great to unwind, grab a beer or glass of wine and soak in the sun and ocean breezes.
