Waikiki Sunset #1414 - (30-night minimum) - ALL MONTHLY RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL.

TRAVEL ADVISORY: U.S. domestic arrivals MUST have proper documentation of full vaccination against COVID-19 OR negative pre-travel test results within 72 hours prior to departure to Hawaii. International arrivals must be vaccinated AND tested. Please inquire for details.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY/NOISE NOTICE: The building is undergoing a major plumbing project which may produce noise throughout the building M-F from 8-5 through November 22, 2021. We don't anticipate the noise being overwhelming, but if it is, please contact your property manager. In addition, thru March 1, 2022, M–F from 8am to 4:30pm, Fire Sprinkler Head Replacement will also be happening. Loud power tools may be used, and elevators will be used to transport materials. Contractor activity may cause crowding during peak periods.

    Property condition

    The condo was clean and comfortable. The beds were not hard or to soft. The A/C kept the condo cool and comfortable. I slept well.
    I sat at the desk and worked most weekdays using the internet. The internet never failed but I did have one Zoom meeting that it didn't have enough bandwidth to handle so we had to end the video and just use audio. Otherwise, I never had a problem with it.
    Captain Cook manager was good at providing for our needs. The fridge was leaking water to the ice maker. After my call, he called a repairman which showed up the next day to replace the parts in the fridge to fix that.
    Yes they are still working on replacing the pipes in the building and there were 2 different days where water and A/C were turned off to replace pipes. They tell you days in advance so we planned on being elsewhere during that time. No construction happened at night. We could hear some starting around 9-10 am on a few days but it was mostly quiet.
    I would definitely recommend this condo to family or a friend. But I must provide a caution. It is NOT a 5 or 4 STAR hotel. If you can't live with imperfections, then go somewhere else. (And plan on paying a lot more for it.)
    Imperfections like scratches on the tile floor, some paint peeling off, a 3 foot tub (I showered every day so it didn't matter to me. Note - to turn shower on, pull the ring down on bottom of the faucet), cabinet doors starting to come apart, outdated furniture, etc...
    Yes it is used, but is all usable. Wonderful view of Diamond Head, close to Queens and Waikiki beaches, close to Zoo, within walking distance to a lot of attractions.
    I was satisfied with my stay and have a lot of wonderful memories of my month there. I enjoyed my stay at this rental.
