Sony Open (January)

Honolulu Festival (March)
The Honolulu Festival, held each March, is a vibrant celebtration of Pacific Rim cultures. The festival brings together performers from Hawaiʻi, Japan, Australia, the US Mainland, and beyond for a 3-day celebration of local and international dance, music, and arts & crafts, culminating in a grand parade through Waikīkī and a showstopping fireworks display over Waikīkī Beach. Aloha Festivals (September)
Aloha Festivals, an annual series of free cultural celebrations held every September, is Hawaiʻi's premier cultural showcase, preserving the unique traditions of the Islands and sharing the Aloha spirit with more than 100,000 attendees each year. This weeklong event includes the opening ceremony and presentation of the Aloha Festival Royal Court near Royal Hawaiian Center; the Floral Parade from Ala Moana, through Waikīkī, and ending in Kapiʻolani Park; and the Waikīkī Hoʻolauleʻa beachfront street festival, which transforms Kalākaua Avenue, Waikīkī's main drag, into the Islands' largest block party featuring performances from Hawaiʻi's top music artists and hula companies, as well as booths showcasing Hawai‘i cuisine, crafts, and culture stretching as far as the eye can see. Vans Triple Crown of Surfing (November-December)
The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing is held annually on the North Shore on the island of Oʻahu. One of the world's most prestigious surf competitions. The event series is part of the World Surf League World Championship Tour and concludes with the WSL final at ʻEhukai Beach Park (Banzai Pipeline). Together with Pipeline, Haleʻiwa Aliʻi Beach Park and Sunset Beach traditionally become the stage for some of the world's finest surfers and the picture-perfect rides. The North Shore is a 1-3.5 hour drive from Waikīkī, depending on traffic conditions, and whether you take the direct route through the center of Oʻahu or the scenic route along the island's beautiful east coast.
Honolulu Marathon (December)
